To identify and promote Manitoba-based employer best practices for the hiring and retention of newcomers.
Manitoba employers able to seamlessly integrate the talent and skills of newcomers into the labor market.
The MBIEC is an employer-facing initiative funded by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Activities will include sharing best practices and Manitoba success stories for the hiring and employment of newcomers through social media and communications; employer networking events focusing on newcomer hiring and retention; webinars; research; and an annual job fair.
MBIEC Network aims to be the go-to resource for employers seeking connections and networking opportunities that build capacity for hiring newcomers.
